Il busto è una copia ottocentesca eseguita anteriormente al 1849 dall’originale marmoreo posto nella nicchia del primo ballatoio di Casa Vasari ad Arezzo, ed è opera di uno degli artisti della Scuola Libera di Disegno e Modellatura fondata dalla Fraternita dei Laici di Arezzo nel 1806.
Description
The bust is a copy perhaps a true plaster of the original marble bust placed in Casa Vasari Museum in Arezzo; this piece was made before 1849 by one of the artists trained in the Free School of Drawings and Modeling (Scuola Libera di Disegno e Modellatura) founded by the Fraternity of Lay in 1806.
