BANDERUOLA DELLA CAPPELLA DEL SUFFRAGIO

Descrizione

Alla fine del XVIII secolo la Fraternita dei Laici si accollò le spese per la costruzione del cimitero monumentale e della piccola chiesa annessa, denominata la Cappella del Suffragio ad opera dell’architetto Lorenzo de Giudici da cui proviene questa banderuola. La Cappella fu inaugurata nel 1801.

Description

At the end of the 18th century the Fraternita dei Laici financed the construction of the monumental cemetery and the small annexed church, known as the Cappella del Suffragio, designed by the architect Lorenzo de Giudici. The Chapel, inaugurated in 1801, was crowned with the weather vane.
